Refractive Distortions of Two-Particle Correlations
Using optical model calculations it has recently been shown that refractive phenomena from the collective mean field can significantly alter the sizes inferred from two-pion correlations. We demonstrate that such effects can be accounted for in classical calculations if mean field effects are included.
متن کاملFinal State Distortions in Two-particle Correlations
Final state interactions in two-particle interferometry is considered for two-particle potentials which are the Coulomb plus “strong” one. For a simple model of the source we provide a full numerical calculation of the correlation function with taking into account two-particle Coulomb interaction plus final state strong interaction. It is found that for small sources (R0 = 1− 4 fm) the contribu...
متن کاملElectron impact double ionization of helium from classical trajectory calculations
With a recently proposed quasiclassical ansatz [Geyer and Rost, J. Phys. B 35 (2002) 1479] it is possible to perform classical trajectory ionization calculations on many electron targets. The autoionization of the target is prevented by a Møller type backward–forward propagation scheme and allows to consider all interactions between all particles without additional stabilization. The applicatio...
متن کاملTheoretical Calculations of Refractive Index of Synthesized One and Two Substituted Derivatives of Functionalized Bithiophene Compounds
In order to study the variation of electronic properties, a set of bithiophene derivatives has been developed. Here, the effect of substitution on the aromaticity properties of some cyclic bithiophene derivative compounds was investigated using theoretical calculations. Calculations were performed at B3LYP/6-31+G (d,p) level; and calculated properties included energy, dipole moment, total c...
